TIF Summer Games 2026: A Morning of Fitness, Community and Fun

The TIF Summer Games returned this weekend, and what a fantastic morning it was.

With a World Cup theme running throughout the event, members arrived in football shirts, national colours and country-inspired outfits, ready to take on a series of fun, team-based fitness challenges. The atmosphere from the very first session was incredible, with plenty of laughs, encouragement and friendly competition all morning long.

While every team gave it their all, a huge congratulations goes to this year's podium finishers:

1st Place: 8:00am Team
2nd Place: 10:00am Team
3rd Place: 11:00am Team

But as always, the biggest success wasn't who stood on the podium. It was seeing so many people of different ages and fitness levels getting involved, supporting one another and enjoying being part of something bigger than just another workout.

Raising £482 for A Child of Mine

Alongside the games, we hosted our annual charity bake sale in support of A Child of Mine (ACOM).

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our members, who baked, donated and bought cakes, honey and homemade jam throughout the morning, together we raised an amazing £482 for this wonderful charity.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed.

Thank You to Everyone Behind the Scenes

Events like these don't happen on their own, and we're incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make the day such a success.

A special thank you to:

  • Ed, who kept the atmosphere buzzing with music throughout the morning.

  • Alex, who generously gave up his time to help out across the event.

And of course, a huge thank you to our coaching team:

  • Adam for hosting the morning and keeping everything running smoothly.

  • Rich and Jack for designing this year's games.

  • Abi and George for bringing endless energy, encouragement and enthusiasm from start to finish.

More Than Just Exercise

At This Is Fitness, we believe exercise should be something people genuinely look forward to.

Yes, we help people become stronger, fitter and healthier. But just as importantly, we create opportunities for people to meet new friends, support one another and enjoy being part of a welcoming community.

The Summer Games are a perfect example of that.

Whether members were competing, cheering from the sidelines, baking for charity or simply enjoying the atmosphere, everyone played a part in making the morning special.

To everyone who came along - thank you.

We already can't wait to do it all again next time.
